Past Camp Commander Brian Shumway was elected to another term as Department Treasurer at the 118th Annual Department Encampment held in Lansing, Michigan. Other Camp members present included, James B. Pahl, Commander-in-Chief, Past Department Commander James T. Lyons, Past Department Commander Paul Hodges, Junior Vice Camp Commander Dave Arnold, Camp Commander Ron Shull, and Past Commander-in-Chief Keith Harrison. Commander-in-Chief James Pahl installed the new Department Officers.

Also present at the Department Encampment was the new Camp Traveling Display Board. Junior Vice Camp Commander Arnold was responsible for putting the display together. The sword on the table is a Grand Army of the Republic Altar sword. These swords are fairly rare. The sword is owned by Junior Vice Camp Commandery Arnold.
